Joneice Ridgeway

Joniece's love for math began early as she tutored throughout High School. She attended Ohio State University and continued helping her friends and roommates with their math courses before graduating with a degree in Business. Joneice is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She tutors K-8 Math, Alebgra, Geometry and Trigonometry!

Chante Valrie is a recent graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security. She loves helping students in their learning career and  also hopes students will grow to love reading and math!

Ashlyn is a graduate of Bob Jones High School and is a junior at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She has loved math her entire life and tutored her peers all throughout school. She has also student taught alongside elementary school teachers and helped tutored kids in math and reading.

Miarhi Merrell  â€‹

Miarhi is a graduate of  Alabama A&M University where she is studied Mechanical Engineering. Miarhi is now a graduate student at Alabama A&M University studying Material Engineering. She loves to read and dance. Miarhi is excited to help students in their learning career!

Myah Brown​

Myah Brown is a senior Biology major at Alabama A&M University, where she serves as a University Echo Student Ambassador and a member of the Honors program. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is passionate about positively impacting her community by being a mentor to youth in her hometown, Birmingham, Alabama. Myah has years of tutoring experience and looks forward to helping students excel academically.

Will Joyner​

Will Joyner is a licensed attorney with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.  His passion is helping other people and teaching, particularly about science and language.  In his free time he watches Alabama football games, reads, and plays competitive games.  Will is always on the lookout to expand his vocabulary, and hopes to instill a derring-do attitude toward education in his students.

Austen Wyche​

Austen is a graduate of James Clemens High School in Madison, Alabama. His passions include community service, advocacy, and providing opportunities for young people to improve their community. He is currently Student Government Class President and an officer in organizations such as Key Club and United Way Youth Leader's Council. His hobbies include listening to music, spending time with friends, and traveling! He has tutoring experience in the past and loves to tutor in a myriad of subjects. Austen is a freshman at Harvard University majoring in Political Science

Oludare is sophomore engineering major at The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a recent graduate of James Clemens High School in Madison, Alabama. Oludare loves math and science. In his free time, he enjoys playing games and drawing pictures.

Lanita Bonds​

​

Ms. Bonds is a former employee of the US Army Corps of Engineers and TN Department of Transportation. She recently retired as of January 2022. During her career, she worked as a Project Manager for water resource construction projects, and a Design Engineer for pre-stressed bridges.

 

Her experience as a Tutor began during her early years as an Engineering student at Tennessee State University (TSU). She further continued tutoring, as a part-time job during her early professional career with the Federal government (Department of Defense). She has also provided tutoring to high school students for basic preparation for the ACT and SAT math, also teaching basic test-taking skills to provide Students with strategies and “mental math” techniques to improve test-taking performance, as well as, improving strategic and technical performance with math problem-solving.

William "CJ" Curtis

 

William “CJ” Curtis is a sophomore PE major at ALABAMA A&M UNIVERSITY, where he is also a member of the football team. He is passionate in education the youth not only in sports but also in math and literature skills which led to him earning academic scholarships and honors. He is also a product of the tutoring at Bakers Learning Kitchen

Aysia Oliver

Aysia Oliver is a sophomore presidential scholar, from Oklahoma City, attending Alabama A&M University. Her major is Biology with a concentration in Pre-Professional Health. She has a 4.0 GPA , graduated valedictorian of my high school, and made a 29 ACT score. At Alabama A&M she is involved in University Echoes Student Ambassadors, the Honors Program, and Melanated Doctors.
